'They Don't Teach Boys How To Grieve In This Town' directed by Sita Thomas and Tia Camilleri

This production was a culmination of work from weekly skills development sessions with a group of young people aged 16 - 25 at Wales Millennium Centre. Incorporating the pillars of hip-hop - emceeing, breaking, DJing and graffiti, with performance - we created a show that explored themes of grief, identity and legacy. Having mentored Tia Camilleri over the last three years, it was a pleasure to invite her to co-direct this piece, as part of her ongoing professional development.
